Staff was helpful and polite. Rooms were nice clean and had alot of amenities. Within walking distance to alot of the cities great places. Can't wait to go back

The location, one block away from campus, is excellent, and the service is nice and reliable. But don't imagine that this is a "boutique" hotel, or anything fancy. A very good hotel, really almost nothing to complain (although, the parking is a bit expensive, 16$ at the hotel's parking, and 26$ the valet parking if there are no places at the hotel's parking). In any case, it is the best option, IMHO, if you go to Berkeley's main campus or (eventually) to MSRI.
