My husband made a reservation last summer for this place. I stayed here when I was 11 and had a great time. That was in 1968. When we arrived and checked out our room, it looked like nothing had been changed, cleaned or dusted since then. The outside walls looked termite infested. Luckily, we had no trouble getting our money... More

Should be a SciFi movie! The Knight's Inn in Big Bear Lake, CA. Formerly the "Thunder Cloud Resort". It changed owners who changed its name to the Knight's Inn and made it part of the Wyndham Hotels group. That group includes Super 8 which I"ve found to be pretty consistent across the country. Clean and solid. Well, this Knight's Inn... More

Never, ever, ever have i stayed in a worse place in my life, EVER! I had no choice but to stay one night in this mold infested place. I suggest getting a full medical exam after staying here, if you even dare stay for one night. It is disgusting, don't walk on the floor, don't sit on the nasty chair,... More

My husband and I "won" a 2-day stay at this dump after sitting for 3 hours at one of those vacation share sales pitch in Encino... We cannot believe that CASABLANCA EXPRESS - Woodland Hills CA- the company that helps with these vouchers would suggest we redeem out "gift" in this place!!!!! Somebody must stop these thieves!!!!

They advertise as a resort, and it is FAR from that. This property shoul be torn down, rooms are extremely dirty, carpet was all stained. Beds very uncomfortable and rooms are very noisy, door hardky closed, felt very unsecure. Do not recommend this property at all.

Stayed in Room 108 and one of the beds supports went throught the floor. The second night we put books under the supports to keep the bed even. The floor was very corroded and you can feel the floor moving when walking within the room. The shower door did not close all the way and it didn't lock in place.... More

How they stay in business I'll never know. . Like everyone else's reviews here, we turned into a practically empty parking lot. All the rooms had blinds open and many appeared broken. They advertise an indoor and outdoor pool, but there is NO pool at all. The outdoor pool is filled in, as it probably should be. The building is... More

It's nasty and way too expensive... I couldn't even spend the night there, I had to run out because the room smelled like dirty feet and the towels in the bathroom had orange stains, I don't know from what, but so nasty. I told the front desk man that I couldn't stay because of that and he still charged my... More

When I booked a stay at the Thounder Cloud resort I didn't expect anything fancy... but I did expect a working toilet, hot water (especially when it's 13 degrees and snowing), and a clean room... but this did not happen. The first thing I noticed when I arrived was that the lobby was dirty and disgusting. When I arrived to... More

I wanted to take my boyfriend to a romantic trip to Big Bear. My first mistake was not listening to people's reviews of this "resort". First red flag was when we drove up to the hotel and our car was the only one in the parking lot. The magic and romance of our trip quickly evaporated once we opened the... More
