We stayed at Timberhaven over New Years and were so pleased with the both the cabin and the hospitality. The owners even left a bottle of Sparkling Cider on our door on New Years Eve. What hotel would do that? Timber Haven is great and we plan on staying there again this year.

Stayed with several friends here for a winter getaway. Misunderstood the guests policy at first (our mistake) but the management was extremely polite and understanding nevertheless. Place is very laid back and quiet, all the amenities you need. And there's nothing like relaxing in an outdoor jacuzzi while it's snowing and cold all around you!

Loved our "cottage". Had the nice jacuzzi & electric fireplace. Our hosts were extremely friendly & helpful. Our cottage was clean; quiet; and comfortable (although I would recommend a bigger bureau for putting away clothes). The location was peaceful & relaxing and still near all the sites & happenings of Big Bear Lake.

Spent Thanksgiving 2009 at Timber Haven. Cabin was very comfortable and cozy, nicely outfitted, with full cottage kitchen. The hosts, Karen and Mehrdad, are friendly and helpful, and our well-behaved dog was welcome.
