Quaint motel. Center courtyard has games, fountains, gazebo & fire pit. Rooms- clean, NOT fancy, but comfortable. Will use in future. Awesome to sit outside at sunset. Right off freeway, but quiet atmosphere. Quiet good night’s rest for weary travelers.

A review should evaluate a place in comparison to what is promised. When every room (at double the prices) in Bishop was filled (except for some VERY sketchy place that did not seem to be a genuine "Rodeway" something or other), we backtracked to Big Pine. (Let's give thanks to internet phones.) They had one room left and were closing.... More

We spent 1 night coming from Yosemite and going to Death Valley. The rooms are a little bit old but they're clean. wi-fi is for free and no breakfast. We paid 70$ (tax incl) for a double room with queen bed. nearby there was only a restaurant really sad and expensive so we purchased some food at the gas station... More

Our party felt like we'd gone to the last motel Del and Neil stayed at in the PTA movie! Paneling on the walls, rock on the exterior walls - it was a nice little place! I think we paid about $70 for 3 of us and 2 beds. It is an old place and still somewhat original - orange laminate... More

My husband and I have been staying at the Big Pine Motel for several years when we travel on the east side of the Sierras. It's a very clean and quiet place to stay. The rooms are a generous size, the beds are comfortable and the prices very reasonable. The proprietor and staff are incredibly friendly and gracious. There's a... More

Total room price around 80 $ In the nearby there is a bar were all the truck drivers are welcome and you can enjoy a cold beer and some... More

I've been here now a total of five, maybe six weekends since last year. We come up here for the bicycle stage races held in the Eastern Sierras (Everest Challenge, Death Valley Road Stage Race, etc.) and I love it here. It's two miles from the start, quiet, inexpensive, clean, and the owners have always been gracious about a late... More

Although the motel is just that "a motel" if you need a place to stay in this area I don't think you can do much better. I reserved the room with 3 double beds for two nights because I knew we were going to arrive very early in the morning due to our hiking schedule and I didn't want to... More

This is a 50 or 60's era motel with a few large rooms with 3 doubles which works well with a family of 5 . Paid $85 + tax as a walk in, and feel like this was a reasonable deal in the high season, anyway cheaper than anything online in Bishop 15 miles north. Carpets were recently cleaned, bathrooms...
