Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sonoma Coast Villa and Spa. Our spacious room had everything we needed including a jetted tub and private patio. The room rate included a delicious breakfast with homemade quiches, sweet rolls, fresh fruit, etc. One of the highlights of our weekend was a spectacular dinner prepared and served by our host, Johannes. We left... More

Stayed here just a few weekends ago for a girls trip using a GROUPON coupon. We arrived late but had made arrangements ahead and our room keys were easy to find. Breakfast was plentiful, the homemade pastries were incredible. We had a room with 1 king bed and another room with 2 queens, both had patios, a sitting area w/fireplace,... More

This is a beautiful place in a secluded and peaceful area. It was a little further out from wine country, but it felt really authentic and nice. Gorgeous room and wonderful food - top notch! The only complaint I have is the charging for internet. Especially since in the room handbook it said it was complimentary.

Our group spent two nights at the Villa at the end of February. It is a beautiful facility, extremely quiet, clean and well kept up. Johannes, the owner appears to do absolutely everything. His professional European demeanor may put some people off, but we found that when we took a few minutes to talk to him we received much in... More

We just completed a two night stay at this property. The service was impeccable, our room was fantastic, very nice spa treatment, the setting was lovely and the food was great. Johannes (sp?), the owner, worked extremely hard to make our stay a wonderful one. The location is secluded, but very close to lots of great wineries, restaurants and other... More

I bought a 2-night groupon that included dinner, welcoming chocolates and a wine tasting with appetizers (No chocolates, disguisting day old wines without an appetizer, and a applebee's style dinner). Barely a bar of phone reception and they charge $10 a day for internet. Grounds were nice, room smelled of smoke and mold and a very hard bed as noted... More

A group of us arrived at the Villa on Sunday February 26. We were all utilizing a Groupon that we had purchased earlier in the year. The setting is quite peaceful and just what we all needed to begin our yearly trip up the Mendocino coast. We took advantage of the wine tasting and dinner on our second night and... More

Had 2 nights with a Groupon. Room was nice, Lupita was very friendly, Johannes was reserved but efficient, his wife did no more than walk through once. I feel sorry for Johannes having to do all the work - quite late into the night at that serving dinners in the room. Dinners were okay but not really worth $49.50 pp.... More

We had a very nice room (radiant tile floor heat was great) and a nice fireplace. Bed was pretty hard and both of us woke up with a sore back. It has very peaceful grounds (took a long hike up the hill and around the property), nice pool and spa. Other comments about owner are very true - not a... More
