We loved this place. After a week of surfing we decided to recuperate here before heading back to the states. What a great decision. The mineral bathes were amazing and so soothing. The kids love the slides and gardens. The food was fine a reasonable and the rooms were large and comfortable.

My daughter and I spent the day at the spa/gardens/pools/zip lines. It was the best adventure. We were a bit cautious at first but did it all and had a great adventure. It was a long ride to the resort but well worth it and a beautiful ride. Food very good.

I was at Blue River Resort for 2 1/2 days... what nice and beautiful gorunds to explore with the Volcanic Mud, Steam Gazeebo, Hot Pools with a really great Butterfly enclosure that is wonderful and nice place to chill and enjoy the almost natural surroundings for the butterfly's. We stayed for a night. Lovely, spacious rooms, they have a lot of luxuries (double comfy bed, satellital tv, AC, big bathroom, mini walking closet). Beautiful gardens. Thoroughly researched this vendor before our trip. Loved the remote location and what they have to offer. Be prepared for a minimum 1 hr ride on a fairly rough road in and out of the area. The tropical grounds blew us away. Great example of flora/fauna right out the door. Every morning we would hike the trails on our coffee walk, seeing a wide array or bird life and plants.
