We enjoy our 2-night stay at the hotel before moving to Hilton Niseko for another 4 nights during CNY. . I have to say I am more impressed with this hotel and Hilton. Here are pros and cons: Pros: 1. Good price (about 30-50% cheaper than Hilton) 2. Great service. The staff is experienced and, even though their English is... More

Tucked away in a corner of Annapuri, one of the ski areas of Niseko is a high end hotel perched on the edge of a forest reserve. The rooms can be priced with gourmet dinners, kaiseki style, which are multiple courses based on the freshest produce available locally. The menus are not repeated for a fortnight so you can have... The hotel is near Annupuri and far from Hirafu, I really like this fact as it is far away from the crowd. The hotel provides ski rental and ski lessons with fluent English speaking staff at the counter, they also have free shuttle to the ski areas. We were all beginners and took the ski lesson provided by the hotel... More

While staying in Niseko, my wife and I decided to stay at Kanro no mori Onsen for 4 nights. The location was close to the Annupuri ski resort (less than 5 mins) by bus. The free shuttle bus was generally every half hour between 8:30 am – 8:30 pm, although there were only three or four times when the free... More

We was pleased to have stay in Hotel Kanronomori. We had initial concerns that it was far from Hirafu and that skiing and finding food would be an inconvenience, but we realized that staying away from the crowd suited us more. The hotel staff were fantastic even though they spoke minimal english. We looked forward to breakfast every morning. The... More

Loved this place- went with several of my Japanese girlfriends and had a great time! Being my first time to Niseko, I was worried that we would be a bit far from Hirafu and the bars, but after seeing how much the downtown area was overtaken by Aussies, I was really happy we stayed nearer to Annupuri. It was clean,... More

A wonderful spa hotel with fantastic Japanese cuisine. Very helpful staff but don't expect many to speak much English. Bus/taxi needed to the ski slopes, easily arranged through hotel but not much flexibility in bus times to return to hotel. Live music in the hotel lounge was a highlight. We arrived too late in season for good snow. Most of... More

The free shuttle to and fro hotel is really helpful but the only bad thing is that they did not reply our email that we ask for the transportation instead i have to call them instead. Anyway, they still arrive on time and the day we left, they arrange transport at 7am which is really early for the driver as... More

For a Westerner, this was a great Japanese experience. Almost all the hotel guests are Japanese. There was one Russian group and a few people from HongKong. The hotel staff spoke limited English, but they bent over backwards trying to please, and the attention to every detail was unsurpassed. The hotel shuttle bus met us at Niseko raliway station. There... More

Stayed here as part of a conference/holiday with family. We stayed in the not so expensive room type of superior japanese/western style. There were twin beds, and a tatami area. Bathroom area small, but room size in general was large. There are fancier, more expensive rooms that are larger, have massaging chairs, and some even have their own small onsen/hot... More
