The staff, Management and crew are really fantastic. The rooms are fresh and clean. There is no waiting upon check in and the friendly attitude of the front desk staff is great. The view is great and the convenience to stores, resturants etc is wonderful. Any time I am in the area, my hotel preference is Hotel Claremont.

I like this hotel. It recommends it for the travel of the pet going. It recommends it for people who like tennis.

The people who work here are friendly and helpful, but the place shows many signs that it's dying. The rooms are inadequately cleaned. Just returned from 3- night stay. Hotel space in town is tight during the Claremont Colleges Parent Weekend, and this looked like a good value. Unfortunately, we pre-paid for the entire stay -- big mistake! The room was wasn't even "OK" -- the shower had mildew along the grout lines, the shower faucet leaked, and the beds were terribly uncomfortable.... More

The room itself was okay, nothing special, and the beds were comfortable, but the grounds were filthy. There was trash by the pool that was left at least 24 hours, and the pool looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. I wouldn't even take off my flip flops, let alone actually enter the water. Yuck!
