We were expecting a mediocre hotel that we could spend the night in and move on. We were pleasantly surprised by the spacious room, updated bedding and wonderful staff. It's a family owned hotel and the location was ideal - right near the ocean. What a wonderful surprise.

Fernando is a wonderful and friendly host who has made this lodging a delight. Ocean breezes, the lapping of waves and vistas of the exercise crowd make this a spot for families or couples. Wonderful, quaint with gardens in courtyard, across street from beach and plenty of walking,biking. Staff is terrific, very friendly and courteous, Small hotel, older with plenty of charm and very clean. Trains track also across street, no problem for us and PCH is main route but not that busy. Would make this place a regular when staying in Orange County.

The hotel is fresh, clean, and decorated nicely. Other hotel managers should come here for a sample of how a hotel should be run. Over all impression--- Hospitality they showed! The staff is very friendly and well-trained. A small breakfast section but served everything, especially hot food. Amenities were surprisingly good.
