We had a 3 night stay 05/24/12. The proximity of the park and the view of Mercer River is the only reason we would recommend this accommodation. Rooms are noisy, light streams through the windows of the bathroom all night which has a significant impact on privacy and enhancement of this NP experience. Cleanliness of the rooms is questionable, mould... More

This is our second time at Yosemite View Lodge. The last time we came was in 2007 and I must say it's looking a little tired now and could do with a makeover. That said, the location is great, just minutes in the car from the park entrance. Also, it's in a beautiful location, next to Merced river. Each room... More

We stayed here in sept 2010 so this review is a little late so please think about that when reading and booking. The location here is great for a trip into the grove and Yosemite. A short drive has you in the park for the stunning views and fantastic vistas that await the tourist. The hotel has a great river... More

We spent 2 somewhat sleepless nights at this hotel. Our room had a huge jetted tub which was great, but the glass block wall between the bedroom and bathroom let in a surprising amount of light and kept me awake most of night. The second night we tried closing the shower curtain on the tub, it helped some but didn't... More

This hotel is the best located hotel outside of the national park, if you have not been able to stay inside the park. It is a short drive to all the main points of interest. The rooms were clean and spacious, slightly dated but nothing to worry about. Some slight noise from other rooms to the side and above you,... More

This would have to be a great introduction to Yosemite National Park, we had a 2nd floor room backing onto the icy waters along the snowy banks of the river with a balcony, a great place to rest with a glass of wine. When the night closes in you come inside to a fire place and a comfortable bed. The... More

We just stayed at this place. What a nightmare! We paid $250 a night for double queen with river view. The river view of the Merced and the pounding rush of the water is amazing. The location very beautiful, just outside the Yosemite gates. Three outdoor pools, one indoor heated with various spas lots of fun for the kids. Pizza... More

this hotel, whilst nothing extraordinary is in a delightful spot just outside the National Park and right on a babbling stream, charming, relaxing and rewarding.

Our room (#1061) was a bit on the cavernous side, but we got over it when we saw the Merced River about 6 meters past the glass door and patio—A jaw-dropping site. Room choices are Mountain View or Riverside. Trust me, take the Riverside. Our comfy king bed room was on the ground floor and had a kitchenette, gas fireplace... More
