One of my favorite places to decompress - off the grid and relaxing. Recently got to experience the new Airstream accommodations on the property, and have to say this is the way to go - Mercey Deluxe! Brand new and so cool to explore all the little buttons, cabinets, bell sand whistles. Felt like staying in a space ship. Comfortable... More

Mercey Hot Springs is a charming little place. We visited it mid week and it was very quiet and so peaceful we didn’t leave until 1:00 pm next day. Between me and my wife, one observation was common, more time we spent there, more great details we discovered. Starting with our cabin which looked old outside but inside was remodeled,... More

Yes Quiet and Relaxing ! You have to like that kind of thing, or you could get bored, but we didn't. You must also like rustic, it is very rustic, and cute, Tiny rooms, and the other reviewers are right: you must bring Everything if you want to eat, We really enjoyed our quiet weekend there, the drive out there... Yes, this place is way off the beaten path and that is part of its charm...it used to be a healing center and does have a nice vibe in some respects...but there is a greed vibe from the owner that is a turn-off. ($2.00 for a tiny cup of coffee, $4.00 for a gallon of water...really?? For a $150.00 night... More

We stayed here for the first time and found it to be a gem. It is just off the beaten track (I-5), to feel like a real getaway. This place is NOT a polished resort, more like a half-step up from RV camping, but the hot spring baths and spas definitely make up for any "rustic" facilities. There are also... More

This is a real find for anybody who loves low key but comfortable relaxation in California backroads. I am only sorry that our family did not discover this place earlier. We came here on a weekend and spent one night camping with our pre-teen daughters. We used the pool a lot and spent some time in the outdoor hot tubs.... More

My wife and I spent 2 nights in a cabin (with ktchen) and had a comfortable and memorable experience. As others have said, "Mercey Hot Springs resort is not for everyone", but with the proper amount of preparation it can be a wonderful place to relax and de-stress. Some things to consider: (1) Location is quite remote, and there are... More

Mercey Hot Springs resort is not for everyone, but it was for us. I scheduled an anniversary stay in March with my wife and then returned in June with my wife and 16 yo daughter. There are 6 rustic cabins, each with its own, unique design. There are also campsites available for those with tents and campers. The big draw... More

Is it a private home, or a resort? Is it a Harbin/Vichy/Esalan-style hot springs or is it a BLM/State campground? (I've camped and stayed at all of the above, so I know the drill in the different environments.) I was thrilled to give this place a try, because I'm constantly on the lookout for QUIET places where amplified music isn't... More

We stayed two nights at Mercey Hot Springs. The cabins are best described as: shabby chic meets 70s California woody meets "still under construction." It is being renovated and alot of the materials are re-use. It works. The tubs are really nice, really hot, with many different bathing options: clothes, no clothes, private, public. You may have to develop a... More
