We were scouting out a future Hiking Club outing in this area and asked about local trails at the Gold Lakes Lodge. The very helpful manager gave us a good trail map and excellent recommendations. If you like cozy, comfortable, rustic accommodations in an ideal location for hiking and exploring, I highly recommend staying here.
