What a brilliant place! We opted for the couples custom camping for the full Yosemite experience! Upon arrival we checked in quickly and were given our lantern and shown a map of the campground. We found our tent, and it was equipped with 2 sleeping bags, pillows and foam mattress. I thought we might be a bit cold at night... More

When selecting accommodations via website--there is always the element of risk--will it live up to the description? Not only did the Evergreen Lodge live up to, it vastly exceeded our expectations. Initially the 45 minute drive to the Valley where the tourist attraction action takes place gave me pause, but what a pleasure it was to return to the peace... More

This resort exceeded our high expectations for cleanliness, friendliness/efficiency of staff and overall quality of an out-in-the woods cabin/resort experience. We usually elect to skip room service and placed the "no service requested" sign on the door handle. Each day, the staff left fresh towels, tissues, toilet paper and assorted toiletries outside the door - there was never a need... More

This was truly a unique and special holiday for the whole family. My 2 girls loved the rustic charming cabins. They were clean and comfortable. The meals were outstanding. My young girls loved the playground, sandpit and games hall. This was equipped with an array of books, puzzles and games. We hired mountains bikes which the girls thorougly enjoyed. (pool... More

We enjoyed our stay at Evergreen. Our cabin had a very rustic feel, not a lot of frill, but perfect for a mountain location. We had cabin 13, which had one bedroom, a living room with pull out sofa bed and a spacious bathroom in between, and an outside deck with chairs. Overall it was clean, but hot water supply... More

We just spent 2 nights at Evergreen and had a wonderful time.. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The cabins were very comfortable and we found the lack phones and TV a major benefit.. The Sirus Radio was a terrific addition. Evergreen is off the "beaten track" being 6 or so miles from Rt 120 so it is very... More

we spent a full week here loved the place, great location and really nice over all but the staff was a true hit or miss we had wonderful folks and really hateful folks that factor alone made it so we won't return but i wouldn't tell anyone to steer clear of such a wonderful place just be warned and ready... We thoroughly enjoyed our stay (April 25-28, 2012). We stayed in the smallest cabin. It was fine for 2. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was a truly unexpected delight. The chef is very innovative. Every night we dined on a fabulous meal, expertly prepared and served. After a busy day hiking and exploring the valley, we looked... More

The philosophy of Evergreen Lodge matches the feelings of our stay: "We want you to be blown away by your experience at the Evergreen and be sad to leave." What a fabulous place this is! I wish I had found it earlier. We just stumbled upon it when we were planning our trip Yosemite. What a find it was! A... More

We stayed there only 2days since it is expensive for budget traveller. However i enjoyed as much as i expected. The room does not have TV or computer. But i could be relaxed reading a book and having my wine. You dont get to tired watching outside of window or from balcony Also you can be more closer to your... More
