$25 cancellation policy - even if you cancel within 5 minutes of your initial reservation !!! Unless you know absolutely for sure that you will be able to keep your reservation...don't use the internet to reserve at this Inn. AND ...Although the address is "Groveland, Ca", the inn is 13 miles away from the sights and sounds of Charming Groveland... More

I entered the address of the place in my GPS, but it was many miles off up the road, so I got lost at first when trying to find the place. I read the reviews on Hotels.com which did not seem that bad. In hindsight I wish I would have found a place to stay for visiting Yosemite much earlier,... More

No breakfast off-season (end of October). $5 for (pretty flaky) Internet access. Service was rude — the manager obviously would rather hang around watching TV (in a building of his own) than greet patrons. The room was tiny and the cleaning wasn't done, but I got upgraded to "family" suite so I cannot really complain about that one :-P — This goodwill... More

This was the worst room we had on our entire vacation and we paid more than almost any other location. The room was very small, not clean, the tv was tiny and could only be seen at an angle on the bed. There was no complimentary breakfast, not even coffee, and the last straw was being asked to pay extra... More

We booked it before we read the reviews and went in with a open mind. If you are looking for a 5 star, this is not it but it was clean and comfortable. The service was fine the breakfast was a little lacking cereal & muffins but it was ok. Only 11 mile from entrance to Yosemite. There is a fee... More

but maybe that would scare people away. We stayed in room 14 in the cabin closest to the road. Bathroom was scary. Sink had huge chips and rust spots. Water smells like sulfur. No window or vent in bathroom. The place looks like it was last remodeled in 1961. Walls are thin. Door hinges squeaked like a haunted house. They... More

Don't bring too much luggage cause its a bit of a walk from the car. Not to mention the alot of the dresser drawers have bedding in them. No fan or window in the bathroom, light bulbs missing and no water pressure. They really should have a fan or window than maybe the wallpaper wouldn't be pealing. Internet, if you're... More

Don't be put off by the bad reviews here, but, if you are looking for a chain hotel/motel experience with those types of services, this is not the place for you. Think of this place as high-end camping, secluded camping with a bed and running water, and actual walls between you and the bears. That said, this little spot is... More

If you are willing to adapt then this inn is just great, at 10 minutes from the west entrance of yosemite national park, reasonable rooms (which could use some new sheets and blankets) and kind and helpful owners. We booked 4 nights, but the room has been cleaned only once because we asked for it. Only the beds were made... More

Pros: close to Yosemite; beautiful location on middle fork of Tuolumne river; and BBQ and picnic area outside rooms along river.. Cons: 5 drawer dresser had only one operable drawer; housekeeping staff is terrible; bed really uncomfortable; picnic area, next to window above bed, used until well after 11 each night by guests; and, continental breakfast not served until 7:30...
