Set your expectations at the right level and you won't be disappointed: I found the motel to be a friendly, no-frills place to rest your head after a long day of exploring Yosemite's beauty. I spent one night, having made a reservation in the morning (on the drive into Yosemite) and then returned for the night under cover of darkness.... More

I have seen a lot of below average reviews, but my stay was not bad, I stayed here as we had to visit Yosemite , and it was OK for 70$, the bathroom door had a problem and the lady was kind enough to fix the problem with the help of a carpenter in a few minutes.

I stayed at this motel on route from las Vegas to San Francisco and arrived late at night with my partner, the prices are cash up front and a little high however it is the cheapest in the town and good value. The hotel has a very authentic feel and are very qute, the room was clean and the beds... More

We arrived late at night (friday). So we had no alternative. The room was rundown, hugly and really dirty. The woman at the desk was very rude and the atmosphere was nothing short of disturbing. The price we paied (90 $) was too high for that horrible place. We didn't sleep at all and early in the morning we escaped... More

We were pretty late on our trip back from Yosemite and decided to stay in that Motel because it seemed to be the least expensive place around. We payed $80 for a cabin and it was not worth a single penny. It seemed to be clean at first glace and the awkward smell other travelers were writing about was covered... More

As happened also to other travelers, we found this Motel because other Lodges were full or too expensive. We asked for a Big Bungalow for 4 people and we got the house # 6.. it is one the biggest with 2 rooms but, after a detailed site inspection, we preferred to stay all together in one single room. The beds... More

This was absolutely the WORST PLACE we have ever been to!! We stayed in one of the trailers from the 70s: it was filthy with dust, spider webs, dirty carpets, and holes in the bathroom and main room floors. The finish on the pots and pans in the kitchen was scratched off and corroded, obviously a health hazard. The combination... More

Options were limited since this is about the last motel outside Yosemite the other places were more expensive. But knowing what I know now, I would happily have spent a few more dollars if I knew it was worth it. The place is overpriced, old and cold. There was brown water coming out of the tap. The toilet was wiggly.... More

We arrived late in the night, so we had little choices, and we decided to stop here in a tent. The tent was the dirtiest thing i have ever seen, but anyway, we set the bed. When we wanted to go and have a look around we found that the Zip-close was broken. Se we asked for another tent, and... More
