I stay at Strawberry Creek every couple months for a writing retreat. It's so peaceful there. Rodney and Ian are both lovely and the food is wonderful. Took a last minute overnight trip to Idyllwild and was very pleased with our stay @ this B&B. Rodney greeted us and showed us our room, the Oak Tree Room. Ian & Rodney are friendly & helpful innkeepers. The breakfast was tasty, nice juice, cloth napkins, etc. The pictures of the rooms on their website were taken before they were redecorated. We just love this place...so much so in fact that we are getting married here in March! The innkeepers Ian and Rodney were so friendly and attentive to every detail. The inn is a delight... luxurious, yet cozy and relaxed at the same time. Breakfast was astoundingly good! Our room was clean, comfortable and wonderfully decorated. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We found this little get-away online. We booked The Evergreen Room on a Sunday through a Wednesday. Lovely stay, very quiet, hosts great, breakfasts delicious! Ate ate recommended restaurants, Creekside Inn, Cafe Aroma and Gastrognome....all very good! We will definitely come back here!

The hosts were very friendly and attentive. We felt very welcome and enjoyed the easy, homelike atmosphere -- coffee/tea anytime, appetizers and sweets each evening, a nice library and living room area, hammocks outside for relaxing. Strawberry creek inn was the perfect getaway we needed. So relaxing and had a great time feeding the chickens as well :) Great location close to everything and if you like hiking there's plenty of hiking trails. oh yes and can't forget the delicious cookies and breakfast we had!
