My mother and I stayed here during the long Memorial Day weekend and we were pleasantly surprised. Our room had recently gone through a renovation and it was wonderful. New sheets, a working fireplace, a balcony right on the water, amazing shower, and extremely friendly staff. The restaurant is currently closed but they provide you with a nice bagged breakfast... my husband, I and our 20 year old daughter had a wonderful stay here last night. Our room which costs 175/night is actually a small apartment. one bedroom with two queen beds, and a great room with a comfortable sitting area, a fireplace, nice tv, table, kitchenette. we have a small deck overlooking Tomales Bay and a small garden with... Ok so quik and to the point. Dont plan on being overwhelmed by the quality. Paid for the upgraded newly renovated rooms....DO NOT DO IT. These rooms are average and not as nice as the ones for $195. Read the fine print on everything. You have to hang a sign if you want your room made up and fresh towels.... More

Stayed in the upgraded bayview room.....wanted to be sure we could sleep comfortably and motel advertised new mattresses. Not disappointed....slept VERY well.....special top on mattress made it like sleeping at home. Nice pillows and blankets, too. Room is clean and spacious with very comfy couch. We felt it was too expensive but spent the extra to get a good night's... More

Basic but very clean motel in a great location. The internet worked well, there was HBO and plenty of hot water. Staff was helpful and pleasant. We didn't use the mini-kitchen which looked so-so. As another reviewer noted, this is a motel not a resort. There's no restaurant but the Blackbird Cafe about 5 minutes drive away has very good... More

My partner and I drove to Pr. Reyes without a reservation for the night. We first checked out Pt Reyes National Seashore Lodge in Olema, but their rate was over $250.00 for a small room overlooking the back garden. They called Tomales Bay Resort for us and a room was available for $199 for the night which we decided to... More

This place had fantastic service. Rooms were clean, housekeeping was friendly, front desk personnel were welcoming and very helpful. The facilities were older, although it is obvious they are trying to continue to update things. Maybe it was good pricing for the area, but it just felt like it was really expensive for the room we got, by about $50.... More

I was looking for a place to reasonably-priced place to stay with the kids so that we could be handy to Point Reyes seashore. And I was hoping that we could kayak a bit but the windy January weather precluded that. It was perfect for our needs. We'll come back Spring break and try again to kayak and see more... More

Stayed in one of the cheapest rooms for three nights recently. Wonderful value. Best price in the area for lodging. Room was quite large and was very comfortable with a good baseboard heating system. Nice bed. Facility itself is a little old, but very adequate for us. Beautiful setting right on Tomales Bay. Views of the birds and boats from... More

We are so glad we found this place! Soft comfy beds, very quiet and serene, fantastic views of Tomales Bay out the window, and clean inviting rooms.Great sleep quality! Really neat to watch the low and high tides come in, which are more pronounced than anyplace we have ever been. They have a nice pier where you can watch the many... More
