I stayed at what's now called Julian Meadow View for New Years (2011-2012). The Lilac room, their largest room was disgusting.
Dirty couches, filthy ovens, broken mini blinds, absolutely disgusting bathroom floor, dirty dishes, glasses, and utensils in the cabinets. The guests are required to wash their own. I guess you can imagine how well they do without a dishwasher....

Spent a week at Angels Landing/Julian Mountain-view. The staff are like extended family, there to help with anything you ask. The rooms are spacious, clean and relaxing! Great views and just full praise for a job well done. Thanks so much!
Angel's Landing is now Meadow View Inn. With lot of improvements to the rooms, this place is a hidden gem in the mountains!
We usually stay in the Lilac and the jacuzzi bathtub is wonderful after a day of hiking or horseback riding. We enjoyed sitting in our private balcony at night, talking and looking at stars.

Seriously enjoyed my anniversary stay at Julian Meadow View Inn/Angels landing! We stayed in the Lilac suite and had the best of times, made a fire in the fireplace and enjoyed the lack of television!! The jacuzzi tub was tons of fun, and the solitude was just what we wanted!! A classic, beautiful, country stay! We also went to Jeremy's...

We--2 adults, 1 infant--stayed 1 night on a quick trip to Julian. If you are the right kind of visitor with clear expectations of this place you can have a really great time, especially ifyou have young kids who would like lots of space to run around outside. The rooms were clean but kitschy with old furniture, bedding, etc. My...

The expansive view from the hilltop setting above Julian is the best thing about this hotel. The staff are friendly. To call it a resort is odd, because there are no amenities that one would associate with a resort. An attempt had been made to update our double rooms by applying fresh paint and adding silk flowers and new bedding...

Our family had a fantastic time at Angels Landing. We were treated so well, loved the place and the people. My 8 year old enjoyed feeding the animals (carrots are left out so kids can feed the animals any time). Even my teenage daughter liked the quiet, down time away from outside distractions. The people were all so friendly and...

Really, there was a fire in Julian and it started while at the Bluegrass Festival. We were staying at the inn and the owners gave us reassurance for our safety when all the roads were closed; even gave us a ride into town to pick up our vehicle. The following morning they gave the guests a complimentary breakfast. The stay...
