The Kernville Inn is located in middle of the Town of Kernville. A stay at the Kernville Inn will be a memorable one,be it relaxation or an adventure on the Kern River.
Serenity in Kernville I have stayed at the Inn several times to visit my daughter and son-in-law. The Inn is always consistent. The rooms are spacious and clean! I always sleep well here with a hearty breakfast at Cheryl’s next door. I’ll be back. Also, a wonderful pool and pool area for the little ones

We were in Kernville just one day to go on a rafting trip and stayed at the Kernville Inn room 161, which was perfect for our family of 4. The room was perfect for our short stay, wish we could have utilized the kitchenette more but like I said it was one day. The room was clean, beds comfortable, and a short walk to the river. My only complaint was the outside porch light and patio lights shown through even with the blinds closed all night. I prefer it to be more dark for sleeping! Maybe black out curtains in the bedroom portion would be awesome!

Very nice and quiet. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Clean and comfortable rooms and property. I was given an free upgrade into a patio room that was very peaceful and nice. This location is within walking distance to a wide variety of restaurants, shopping and right next to the park on the river. I recommend this motel if you are planning a trip in the Kern River Valley.

My daughter, son-in-law and grandson live in the area. My grandson had his first birthday so I drove to Lake Isabella to enjoy the birthday of my grandson. I stayed at the Kernville Inn. I had stayed here previously and it remains largely unchanged. It is a vintage motel in town. It is well located in town, next to the Kern River and to Cheryl’s a diner with breakfast to die for. The Kernville Inn is not fancy but it has clean rooms with comfortable beds. The staff are very friendly. All-in-all, I enjoyed my stay at the Inn very much. I recommend it.

My brother and I took a couple of Honda Monkeys up to Kern to mill around. Picked the Kernville Inn. It was hot this time of year but A/C worked great. Rooms were clean and maintained well. Operators were very nice. They let us park our small motor bikes in our patio area. It was around 100 degrees during the day but in the afternoon the trees shaded the pool making it perfect to cool off without too much exposure. We were provided with room and pool towels which was nice. Asked for a roll away, no problem but didn't end up needing it. Lots of places in walking distance to grab a bite to eat. Cafe next door has decent breakfast menu. Coming back for to Kernville Inn for sure.

If you have dogs the management has rooms set aside for people with dogs. These rooms are the same as the other non-pet rooms. The size of the dog doesn't matter - my Great Dane is 120 pounds - and there wasn't any more of a charge for her than for the miniature poodle. So many places won't allow big dogs but here they do. There is a $100 pet deposit but it is returned after the stay is over. And best for the dog owner, the hotel is right next to a very pretty park that is along side of the river. So it is very easy to walk the dogs any time. Some of the rooms are not the largest but all are sufficient. The bed is very high but once I was in it, I slept very well. The owners are extremely nice and will help with any questions or concerns. I thoroughly enjoy staying here with or without my dogs.…

Spent two nights here on business. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and well supplied with toiletries and towels. It is central to everything in Kernville. Will be coming back in a few months.

We were hanging with friends who were at an RV site, but we don't have an RV so we stayed here! Nice rustic rooms, not super updated but we don't expect that in a fun getaway like this. Very clean rooms and comfortable beds, mini fridge, tv, coffee maker, good closet and drawer space. The only thing, we didn't have a little table in our room (just had 1 chair only) so for a family of 4, there weren't many places to sit besides on our bed. Also the saloon across the street is very loud til late on Saturday night but we still fell asleep ok despite the noise. Nice grounds, clean pool, very close to the river, restaurants and stores, great guest service. We would stay here again!

We rented an apt for my husband & I & our daughter & a a second room for our other daughter & husband. Our unit (204) was spacious & was a good place to gather in the evening. Our daughter’s room (108) however had a low, slanted ceiling & her husband at 6’2” had to bend his head to avoid hitting it & also in the shower. The lodging is plain but acceptable & comfortable. Conveniently located to everything. The grounds are nicely maintained. Nice picnic area (swing for four, bonfire pit, grills, picnic tables) & swimming pool. Nextdoor to brewery & across the street from a market. Easy walk to the river. However, I left a nice Tupperware container in fridge & called 2x the day after we checked out & left a message as well as sending an email. The staff did not bother to give a courtesy of a reply (after renting 2 rooms for 2 nights & leaving a tip for housekeeping this is unacceptable.) Even when I tried calling when I first booked I was sent to a call center in India. I’d prefer to stay somewhere else next time that has a more available staff that answers the phone locally & has much better customer service, thus my rating of about 3 1/2 stars.…

We stay regularly at Kernville Inn! We raft and it's *right* across the street from the park and take-out! The river facing rooms have big patios *and* there's green space immediately across the parking area. The water takes a second to get hot but then is super hot (in a good way). The kitchen has everything you'd need! Clean, comfortable, convenient! ❤
