The Empress is right in the center of La Jolla, walking distance to all the attractions, beach, shopping and wonderful restaurants. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The public spaces of the hotel are beautifully maintained and I always appreciate a complimentary continental breakfast. Staff was invariably courteous and helpful.
