My wife and I stayed at Glendeven Inn over our anniversary. From the very beginning, it was obvious we had found a jewel. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. Our room was spacious and well appointed. It was a suite with comfortable reclining chairs in front of a fireplace. We had a small porch to sit on overlooking a... More

We spent our "mini honeymoon" here and I will be forever grateful that we decided to splurge on this extraordinary place. It was a spontaneous trip -- we had just returned home to Santa Monica from our wedding in Texas. We dropped our bags, looked around, and decided we needed a road trip. Anything to postpone "real life" and all... More

The Inn is set into an old English garden. Chickens, llamas and some unusual birds are fun to see. We stayed in the Pinewood room which was quite large with a comfortable king size bed, fire place, dining table and separate exit to the back of the property. Owner John D. and his staff were always helpful. Breakfast was outstanding... More

This was only one piece of our trip by train around the country, but Glendeven certainly deserves more than one night. The food was Outstanding! The bed was wonderful-those were the softest sheets I've ever felt. The most fun was feeding the llamas with John (he fed, we watched) and hearing about caring for the llamas. We had a visit from... The minute we arrived we were greeted hello by the cutest little red hen that came wobbling up to the car -- that pretty much set the tone for the rest of our visit. From the wandering zen-like llama's that roam the grounds to the amazing breakfast that is delivered to your room each morning in a picnic basket, the... More

We stayed unfortunately only 1 night at Glendeven Inn in the Garret room (upstairs with a stunning view over the grounds with Lamas, Chicken and the Pacific Coastline). By arrival already we were welcomed with personalised parking space with our names on it. On the room there was handwritten welcome card and fresh flowers aswell as handpacked chicken feed which... My boyfriend and I stayed here with his mother and sister. The accommodations were outstanding and the breakfast (post running trail - stunning btw), started off the day on the right foot. Glendeven set up a private wine tour of the Andersen Valley for us and we signed up for their farm-to-table dinner that very same night - a must!... More

My husband and I stayed in the Garret Room at Glendeven on May 15th for one night. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and since we had windows on 3 sides, we were able to greatly enjoy them. We loved the llamas, the chickens, and the goat statues on the front lawn that apparently come to life at night. The personalized... More

We stayed here on our anniversary and had an amazing time. The wine barn was a nice touch. We enjoyed walking the property and feeding the chickens. We stayed in Etta's suite in the farm house. I highly recommend the Farm to table dinner paired with the suggested wines. We look forward to visiting again in the near future.

We stayed in the Briar Rose (again!) and thoroughly enjoyed the Farm-to-Table dinner. There were only six of us, and it was intimate and delicious! We hiked right from the property down into Van Damme State Park, and then onto the beach, up to Glendeven Trail Cottage and back to the Inn.
