The DoubleTree is usually a mid-range hotel for the Hilton chain, but the DoubleTree in Livermore California is a dissapointment. It used to be a Holiday Inn many, many years ago and the design really shows the age. We travel to Bay Area several times a year. We have stayed in several hotels, but now we will only stay at the Doubletree in Livermore. Far exceeded all of our expectations in all areas from value, clean & updated, beautiful rooms, comfortable beds. I have already recommended this hotel to my friends & family. Our stay was fantastic!

Nice hotel (dated on the outside, but nice lobby, restaurant and rooms). The staff was very friendly. The location was convenient allowing us to easily access the BART to travel into San Francisco. Good value! Breakfast was the only meal we had and it was very good.

My wife has family in the area, so we choose this hotel when we visit - 5 or 6 stays in the past couple years. Convenient from the highway, with shopping and food just a couple miles away. Restaurant staff very helpful in providing utensils and dishes when we re-heat the leftovers. LOVE the chocolate chip cookies!

Room had a peculiar smell from some sort of cleaner, no refrig. (as promised), and the beds were not particularly comfortable, but passable. Front desk staff member was friendly & effusive, but they really need to provide a healthy snack, not choc. chip cookies!
