Hey, this was a nice surprise. The front desk people were pleasant and professional. The "grounds" are parking lot, but it was clean and no sketchiness going on. Since Santa Barbara County hotels are so expensive in the summer time, locals have a hard time finding a resonable priced rate for any out-of-town guests. The Days Inn in Lompoc is clean, resonably priced and offers a decent breakfast. I have stayed at this Days Inn more than once and would recommend it.

Perfect for a couple of nights. Room was spacious and clean. There was an issue with the Wifi not working in the rooms but it was available at reception. Arrived at the Days Inn Lompoc, the gal at the front desk was not very helpful or informative. She checked me in, neglected to say that the WiFi service in the hotel was not working & never mentioned the complimentary breakfast the following morning. Liked the big cozy chairs in the lounge. Room & bathroom were decent and clean. Staff was friendly and sociable. FOR US: Undesirable carbohydrate "continental" breakfast that had no eggs or whole fruits, only processed foods. Disappointed that the too soft mattress gave us both back aches the following day.

Price was good for what you get, but it certainly isn't worth more than the $80 I paid. Rooms are comparable to a higher level motel such as Hampton, HIE, or Marriott. Very nice room, good size and clean, comfortable beds, large and clean bathroom. Overall pleasant experience, no complaints, and I'm a picky person. Excellent value for money, I was expecting much less.

This was one of our favorite motels during our ten-night vacation on the California coast. The room was comfortable and well-appointed, the "happy hour" (Beer, wine, soft drinks and appetizers available in the afternoon.) was appreciated, and the complimentary breakfast was plentiful and good.
