My boyfriend and I were playing a club on Pine so decided to get a hotel since we would be out late. Location is perfect, walking distance to aquarium, Pine, all the restaurants. Overnight parking in garage was only $7 with ins and outs which I thought was pretty reasonable. Front desk staff was helpful and friendly during check-in and... More

Nice place to stay for a short trip in Downtown Long Beach. Roof top pool is really lovely, the staff especially Mr. Tyler McKee was wonderfully courteous, helpful and accommodating. We had a wonderful time for a Mom's night out. Only draw back is parking is not convenient, the pool was closed at night for a private party, which bummed... More

This was one the BEST hotels I've EVER stayed at in my entire life. The hotel was GORGEOUS. The surrounding area had TONS of things to do. The staff at the hotel were VERY knowledgeable about the entire Long Beach area, as well as they were extremely friendly, courteous, professional and kind. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel. My parents... More

Hotel is a little hard to find. It is in a touristy part of Long Beach, with lots of chain restaurants, bars, and movie theaters nearby. It is very close to the Aquarium of the Pacific. The hotel is about 3 years old. Things I love about it are the super comfortable bed, the rain shower, and the alarm clock... More

Great place! Lots of pros and a few cons, first the pros. Staff was great especially at check in. Had a problem and a manager was more than happy to help me? The pool on top of the roof is awesome. We came here for the Indy Grand Prix and watching the race on the roof top was great. You... More

I recently spend two nights in The Pike Hyatt on a business trip. The hotel has a great location close to restaurants and the beach. The hotel is very nicely decorated and the rooms have an upmarket feel. Excellent value at $139/night. I definitely stayvthereagin.

I had to go up to Long Beach for business and decided to bring up the family with me. I booked this hotel as it was recommended by a client. As others mentioned, it's now a Hyatt property. Don't confuse this Hyatt with the bigger Hyatt across the street. I forgot my confirmation and just googled Hyatt Long Beach from... More

This was a lovely hotel. Free parking at the garage next door, decent prices for breakfast, and a decent size room. Most importantly room was clean, quiet, and I could control the temperature no problem. Staff was very friendly too. Overall a good stay and I would reccommend it to another person.

I ended up staying in Long Beach not by choice, but because all hotels in O.C. were exhorbitantly priced for my business trip, probably because of spring break. And I am extremely happy I chose to stay at the Avia (as others have said, this is now a Hyatt called "Hyatt at the Pike." Note this is NOT the Hyatt... More
