We read some recent reviews & decided to make our own comments. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in The Secret Garden B&B in LA! We have stayed in LA so many times over the years even stayed in some rather nice/expensive rooms in some of the best known hotels in LA, but never really enjoyed our previous LA trips. In... More

I first time stayed at the Secret Garden Bed and Breakfast 10 years ago, Easter 2002 to be exact, when Raymond Bilbool still hosted the BnB. Since then I (with family and friends) have stayed there at least 10 times over the years. Many of the reviews posted are - I must admit - plain ridiculous. The Secret Garden Bed... More

Some of these reviews are just plain ridiculous. The Secret Garden Bed and Breakfast is an excellent place to stay if you're in need of quality service and hospitality in Hollywood. The location is amazing! Sunset and Vine is right in the middle of Hollywood, and surrounded by so many sights and attractions. I stayed last week on a business... More

Superior hospitality, great conversation, delicious cuisine and one of the best lodging values in Hollywood have brought my husband and I back many times over the last few years. Reviewers need to remember that this is an older beautiful home and a little dust is common in the absence of modern dual pane windows. I'd much rather be in a... More

When we arrived there was one one to greet us we were on the verge of turning away to find somewhere else when Sylvestor arrived. The bell on the door was broken and we had to phone a number that went directly to an ansewr machine. The hospitality was good but the Secret Garden need one good deep clean there... More

Too bad the rooms were not clean at all - dust everywhere, you are afraid to put something down and walk barefoot over the floor - although bathroom and sheets where clean.... Too bad, as the location is excellent, the interior is not my style but it definately has heaps of charme, and the they really take care of you... More

We can’t actually find a word bad enough to describe our stay. we read enthusiastic comments from the past so we were glad to stay here, until we actually got there: we don’t know what happened but the situation has to be completely changed. We were coming to LA from Sequoia National Park. The day we were supposed to leave... More

I had to spend one night in LA recently for work and so I looked for a similar b&b near my job site on Sunset Blvd. Secret Garden looked nice on the website and was a reasonable price, so I went for it. I wouldn’t consider myself a picky traveler but a lot about the experience was a bit janky.... More

My husband and I stayed at the Secret Garden in June and really enjoyed our stay. It's in a great location and at night you can wander along Sunset Boulevard and there's a big choice of restaurants. It's also very close to the Chateau Marmont which has a great cocktail bar, Bar Marmont. Sylvester is a great host and really... More
