A huge room, amazing service, quality room service and very helpful housekeeping staff. great car service and a location that is close enough to be handy but also not in the thick of things. Great recreational facilities.

firstly dislikes:- really disapponting perks from being an ambassador member with the intercontinental group. Had much better perks with other chains within the group ie. holiday inn and crowne plaza etc. I thought being an actual intercontinental hotel the benefits would be rewarded more there from loyalty. So no free breakfast- a big surprise. But a free film choice was given.... More

The hotel is located in the Century City area of Los Angeles, which is a good central location between Beverly Hills and Santa Monica. Although this hotel is just a bit out of the main area it feels a little isolated. It is surrounded by office buildings and apartments and really not an area a tourist would want to be... More

This was the first hotel at the start of an eight week long road tour, we took three nights here to get over jet lag and have a Los Angeles experience. We couldn't have wished for a better hotel to start our holiday. The room was a corner one at the front from which we could see the Hollywood sign.... More

I expected a lot more from an Intercontinental. While the lobby looks nice and the ballrooms were very recently renovated, the rooms are quite dated and disappointing. The layout of our room was strange - you couldn't leave the bathroom door open because if you opened the door to the room it would bang the bathroom door! Apparently this happened... More

Prior to my stay at the Intercontinental, I had just come from a hotel in another city that had 1st class service and a spotless facility. The Intercontinental didn't fare so well on comparison. Service was okay, but fairly impersonal and brusque. When I was at the front desk for check-in and check-out, the staff who helped me took multiple... More

I visited the InterContinental for 2 days for a business trip. The room and bed we wonderful, particularly after a 7 hour flight from the East Coast. The cab ride from the airport was about $30 depending on traffic. The Wireless internet is not free. The lobby and court yard is nice but I didn't have time during my trip... More

Generally a top class hotel with excellent staff and service. On hour stay I would single out the concierge staff and restaurant staff for special mention for their friendly and helpful service. The hotel website describes the location as "minutes away" from various areas of interest - for example Rodeo Drive. In reality all the areas of interest, Rodeo Drive,... More

This was a one night stop after a 12 hour flight from London. The arrival and checkin were second to none. We were even given a complimentary glass of wine to take up to our room. The restaurant was very pricey, so a short walk to Century City Mall provided us with a large choice of sensibly priced eateries. The... More

My husband & I stayed here March 12-14, 2012. From the time you pull into the property you treated like no other. The valet staff is gracious, the person opening the front door is wonderful, the front desk staff was friendly, & the bed was comfortable. My only complaint was the room had several scuff marks all over the wall,... More
