“Wish Reservations could be Site-Specific”

Upon arrival on a Saturday in September, our group selected adjacent sites #30 and #32 in the circular loop section. Refer to the campground map on the state parks website. Reservations are not site-specific; you pick your site upon arrival. The sites on the western side of the loop have a bit more real estate and back into the forest... More

“Camping with convenience”

My husband and I stayed here for a few days in August. We wanted "beach camping" without the drags of being on the beach---the endless wind against your tent, endless sand blowing into the tent and all over everything...etc. So we chose Sycamore Canyon. “Great trip w the Fam!”

The husband and I love camping but haven't gone since our little girl was born. We chose Sycamore because it was relatively close to home for us and offered a variety of " stuff". The campground was beautiful with oak trees and foliage and had a good " I'm camping" feel without being too rustic. I like my hot showers... More
