The Mariotte Marina del Rey is a really nice hotel. Very clean with friendly staff. Easy access, good location, clean rooms, good breakfast. I did not spend a lot of social life here, but Lobby and Bar looked nice and animated. WiFi in the room is too pricy, my room on the 3rd floor had some noise from the street.

It's got everything you need and was better than staying near LAX. Short cab ride to the pier and Vince beaches make this hotel a good option. Hotel bar is nice and offers different beers on tap. A little pricy for what you actually get.
