LA hotels are expensive so for the price it was about average. Linens were clean, employees were exceptional, bathroom was clean except the floors (grout black but should have been gray), breakfast needs an upgrade.

The reception staff was nice and friendly. The room itself was fine but my room faced the Washington Blvd and was on the ground floor so it was rather noisy. Also in the morning the cleaning ladies were rather loud and I could hear them talking and moving around from my room before 8am. The continental breakfast was above average.

Just stayed at this place for a week. Great rates. Better location. And excellent staff! Everyone at front desk is beyond helpful, and professional. Nice outdoor setting for breakfast and lunch, too. Rooms are very spacious and clean. My favorite part: No used comforters on the beds. Just a throw; it's the little things!

I only didn't give it five stars because a place really has to be top shelf to get a five-star rating. But, like my subject line says, I can't really complain. My imprecision of this hotel from the pictures was really iffy but when we got there it was nice. The staff was really nice and checking in was fast.
