We booked one night in the Super 8 in advance because we needed a accommodation near Yosemite National Park. The price is way to high for the offered! The smell in the room was so disgusting, we nearly fainted. The smell in the bathroom was even worse (i can just guess there must be mold somewhere!). The furniture was old... More

Our room was clean and practical, and staff went out of their way to help us when needed. Given some of the other reviews I have to wonder if it's room by room. We loved the town, loved the location, and felt we got more than our money's worth. It was clean, everything we needed was there, and more.

This place is a dump! Seems that everything in the room was from other hotels (i.e. phone still had menu from a hotel in san francisco on it) Everything was so old and worn, stains everywhere on carpet, I could've pushed through the joining rooms door to get into the one connected to us, all complimentary items such as soap... Very shady business practices, filthy rooms. I arrived late and asked for a room if they had wifi. I was assured they had wifi and check in. We got to the room and tried to connect with no success. We had sat on the bed and I washed my hands in the filthy sink. I went to the front desk... More

Passed through Mariposa on our way to Yosemite. We caught an earlier flight and arrived a day before the house we rented would be available so we needed 1 nights lodging. Mariposa is a small (absolutely adorable) town and we decided to find a motel/hotel to bed down here. The Super 8 is on the main road near Burger King.The... More

Save yourself the headache and DO NOT STAY HERE! It is filthy, there is mold, the staff is rude, and the beds were not changed. I was afraid to use the covers on the bed. Once I did fall asleep, the fire alarm went off at 3am, and continued to go for 20 minuets. We decided the motel was not... More

I booked this place since everything in yosemite park was sold out. Was very happy to see the room. Breakfast runs out early. But even without it good value for money

Avoid this hotel. We have booked a non-smokinmg king size bed room. We received a smoking King size room. As we complained about the room the front desk member became very unfriendly and only after six times telling her that a smoking room for a hundred bugs for a confirmed confirmation is not acceptable, she said that they were out... Despite having problems with internet (there was a fire in the town), and the pool was with green water- the hotel was very clean, the complimentary breakfast was good and the people was helpful. The way back to the park is very long but with beautiful views.

Let's get some perspective here - if you book a budget, roadside motel you are not going to get the Ritz Carlton. Having said that, the hotel was clean (don't see how you can criticise a place for smelling clean!), the front desk staff were extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We were offered loads of advice on the best way... More
