My boyfriend and I just stayed at Sweetwater in the Bay View room located in Little River. We were there friday Oct 9 thru the 11 2009. We really enjoyed our selves the bed was very comfortable the room was clean and cozy. That water pressure in the shower sucked but that was the only thing that needs improvement. This... More

There were four of us, each needing a separate bed. Of the two foldout queens one was uncomfortable, the other unusable - one of us slept on the floor. Rooms looked nice, but the owner really didn't care that the beds were horrid. Look elsewhere!

Our room cost about a 100 bucks, which is a great deal in Mendocino, and we were very happy with it. It was in the town of Little River, which is clearly stated on the website. This wasn't a problem for us. Our room was warm and cozy with a bit of an ocean view. There was a small fridge... More

We stayed in the Mendocino West Room, and we got the 40% off deal they were having so we got a really nice price on their most expensive room for a great price. There was even flowers room from the room cleaner. It was our anniversary, and my girlfriend was filling up the hot tub. As she was opening the... More

This hotel has a few rooms in the town just south of Mendocino called Little River. We stayed in the Zen cottage, which had a private entrance and faced the ocean. There was a little patio off to the side and the cottage was wonderfully spacious. You could get lost in the bathroom alone! It was blissfully quiet, and just... More

My husband and I tried to take advantage of a flyer discount they were advertising for a massage and hot tub combo. When we called to book an appointment, the price jumped to beyond what the advertisement stated. Then when we got there, the price jumped even higher. We both have arthritis and really needed this opportunity to soak and... More

Okay, I have been coming to the Sweetwater for years and so I'm used to it, like it a lot and so take that for what it is. Here's the deal: With discounts off season some of the rooms go for as little as $60 a night.....this includes a comfortable room which is yes a bit funky (I mean furnishings,... More

We have stayed here twice so far and had a ball on both trips. We are planning a return trip 01/08 and am sure we will love it again. We have found the Inn to be clean and comfortable. The price is fair for the area and we enjoy being able to walk thru the viilage and return to a... More

First off, let me say that my wife and I greatly enjoyed our stay at the Sweetwater Spa and Inn. Finding available accomodations for the weekend in Mendocino was challenging, possibly due to Winesong. When I finally found the Apple Cottage at Sweetwater available, I booked it immediately. Thereafter I saw the reviews on Tripadvisor and groaned. However, I had... More

This is an older home converted to a hotel. Our room upstairs (no elevator) was very comfortable but was located facing the street which could be very loud at times. Breakfast was not included with the room. If we returned to Mendocino I would look for something a little more economical (the room seemed pricey).
