What the previous reviewer said is almost true: Small room, small area for breakfast and simple breakfast (no fruit, no juice...) “Basic motel, small & dusty room.”

Where to begin? This is a basic motel. Nobody will argue with that. However, even for this category, the room was very small. This has to have been the bargain of the century! We made this last minute booking the night before our stay based on the other Tripadvisor reviews, and we weren't disappointed. “Quick stop”

We stopped here to begin a trip down the Pacific Coast Highway. Lady at the fromt desk was helpful in providing information and directions. Plenty of restuarants nearby..right next to the Freeway....good price for the area. Very basic, its a place to sleep...

“Great location”

The room was what you hope for when you book, clean, and quiet. The owners are on site and are very friendly. The location is great, only a couple miles from Cannery Row, and within a block of great restaurants, and 3 blocks from Safeway. We'll stay there again.

“Best place to stay when visiting Monterey”

We stay at this Super 8 every time we visit Monterey, approximately 8 times per year, and consider it our vacation home. The staff is super friendly, it's close to Cannery Row and it's reasonably priced. We recommend it to all our friends who visit Monterey.
