The staff were great, the breakfast was great, price was great, room was great!!!! I would definitely stay there again. They have a binder of DVDs you can bring back to your room to watch. I've never seen that before!! It's not too far from Hearst Castle either. They cater to pets too!! Try it, you'll be very happy!!

Very clean, accommodating ownership, great inclusive breakfast. WiFi really does not work and the hotel is in the middle of nowhere ! Wasn't near Hearst Castle.

My wife and I stayed at the El Rancho hotel on March 30th and found the hotel to be very nice. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel staff were gracious and the breakfast was delicious. We thought the hotel was an excellent value.

Just turned up on the way to san francisco and got the last room. Guy on reception very helpful and obliging. Room spotless and had everything in we needed. Great breakfast too. Would definitely stay here again!

This is a clean and friendly motel for people and pets. Many pet friendly motels wind up looking and smelling like a kennel. El Rancho has long been exceptionally clean and fresh smelling. It has a better than average breakfast included and there are also several nice restaurants within walking distance.
