We chose this Best Western because we'd been so impressed with our stays in San Bruno and Garberville - my husband is from Australia (land of not-very-high-mountains) and he wanted an opportunity to spend time around Mt Shasta. Can't get much closer than this! A great motel and looking to be even nicer as they are undergoing renovations right now.... More

Since we stayed at this hotel a year ago they have updated the TV's to 42" flat screens, an upgrade we made a point of suggesting in our review last year. We had a much nicer room this time and the bed was very comfortable with warmer bedding. Unfortunately the heater/AC was still noisy and we had to get up... More

There were 4 of us traveling to Bend, Oregon and this town was a good stopping point from the San Francisco area to get just over 1/2 way. The room rates were reasonable, the rooms clean with lots of soft pillows and the restaurant stayed open long enough for a quick dessert stop after dinner out in town ;-) They... More

This is our traditiional stay on our way to California. Front desk staff are always very accomodating. Rooms are spacious and clean with amentities such as a fridge. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was above average. As the dining room and entry were undergoing renovation, did not have dinner but the menu looked good. Easy on/off the freeway with downtown... More

It was 2 am and I was dragging. I got off the Hwy inn Mt Shasta and the first place I hit was this little gem. Asked for a closet to sleep in if that was all they had. No the night clerk gave me a very nice room at a good price and breakfast. It enjoyed going to an... More

We stayed here for one night to break up our drive home from Portland and enjoyed our stay. With 2 tired and cranky kids and a dog itching to move around, by the time we checked in, we were more than happy to have a comfy room with enough space for all of us. Check in was smooth, we headed... More

For a reasonble price, you get awesome views, good service and what was hands-down the best pool/spa combo of all the similarly priced hotels I stayed in on a recent trip. No seriously, their pool and spa rocked my crippled (I have a back injury and water is a good thing) world well above and beyond that of 4 others... More

This place was amazing. I can't believe we have missed for as often we travel through to Oregon. The rooms were great. The pool is amazing. The bar was great. The butter nut squash raviolis were De-licious!! Never mind staying in Redding on my way north. This is the new hot spot for rest and relaxation.

A convenient stop when traveling south, this motel close to Interstate 5, has been our choice for several years. At about $150.00 for the average room it seems a little high when compared to other similar motels until one considers the included breakfast. It is a full buffet with scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon and multiple other choices enough to satisfy... More
