Overall, this is a good choice for convenient and consistent accommodations within walking distance of the Uptown Theater. We stayed in the Verdi Room, which is at the top of a narrow and curved stairway, which I would not recommend for older visitors or anyone with balance issues toting a suitcase. Other reviewers have remarked both positively or negatively about... More

Well, needless to say our check-in experience at the McClelland-Priest was a first. No one was there to greet us. No one was around to show us the property. There was absolutely no one on the premises. What we found was an envelope outside the front door with communication from the owner, Celeste. Not real friendly if you ask me,... More

My husband and I have stayed there twice. Our first visit was in 2009 in April. We had never been to Napa before. It was a great location. We could walk to downtown Napa. Celeste had our map and keys ready for us when we arrived. Each morning after a delicious breakfast, she would suggest wineries for us to stop... More

Celeste and Bruce are extremely knowledgable and connected in the valley. As others have mentioned, we arrived before official check-in time but an envelope was on the porch with tons of information including a map of Napa Valley with wineries circled indicating that Celeste had worked out either comp tastings or 2 for 1 tastings. Breakfast was delicious and a... More

Celeste had our keys waiting for us with a portfolio of maps, tour books, and coupons to various wineries even before our check-in time! The house is very elegant and comfortable. We stayed in the Firenze which had its own outside patio with chairs and table. Everything was clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were freshly prepared by Celeste and her... More

We booked our stay, Dec. 7 - Dec. 12, 2011, based on other reviews and Celeste far exceeded our expectations. The breakfast was wonderful, appeared as if it was prepared by a 5 Star Chef, and tasted just as fabulous. Location of this B&B is superb, you can walk all over downtown Napa, lots of resturants, shopping, and Wine tasting... More

Beautiful house with nicely furnished, large rooms.. Charming owner. Outstanding breakfast. Very clean and comfy. Excellant location. Overall a very good B&B which gets an A for value. You might find a nicer place but not at the price.

We booked the stay based on everyone else's reviews and our expectations were surpassed! Celest was a fantastic host and cook! The rooms have an old world charm and are neat and clean! Within walking distance from everything in dowtown Napa!

My best friend lives in Napa and we visit him once or twice a year. We've stayed up-county, Sonoma, and Napa but we've had trouble finding a place thats both affordable and in a great location. We stayed in the Firenze Suite. It was excellent. The room was large and has a private deck and in-room gas fireplace. The location... More
