This hotel has all the basic amenities and does the job for a quick stay. The staff were actually very friendly and nice and down to earth (translation: local twenty-something types with a somewhat laid back attitude, plus the parent-like managers). The location is great for this motel, however, it is tired and could use a good renovation. They may also want to consider adding better food to their complimentary breakfast and adding wine glasses to the room. They are in Napa, so that would be a good touch.

John Muir Inn was clean but it desperately needs attention. Paint, new carpet, and updated furniture would help a great deal. It does have a great location but there are properties on VRBO that are much nicer and cheaper.

Stayed here for a wedding in Napa. I wasn't impressed with the hotel. It was like a Motel 6 but at the cost of a Marriott. Decor was old, beds we soft and you can feel springs moving. Should have spent the extra $$ to stay at the Marriott right down the street.

We stayed here for two nights on an extended family road trip. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. The best part about it is the location.
