Got a last minute deal on Priceline name your own price for $80 on a Friday night. While this property is not "on the beach", it's actually about 3 or 4 miles from the ocean. However, it is well appointed, comfortable, clean and has a great pool area with private free cabanas and a fire pit. Complimentary coffee and tea... More

I spent last Friday night with my boyfriend. I arrived at the hotel to find that only valet parking was available, it took us 15 minutes just to get out of the car. The room was nice but due to a crying baby we asked to change rooms (not a baby hater - just trying to have a romantic weekend).... More

The grounds are lovely, the rooms are tasteful, roomy and clean. The lobby area is nice, they offer coffee in the mornings. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. You are charged for the valet service BUT they are so nice you don't mind. You call from your room and your car will be waiting for you when you... More

Nice hotel for the value. Didn't get a chance to go to the pool or spa but the room was clean. Would stay here again.

My wife decided to accompany me on this business trip so instead of the usual Hampton or Courtyard I upscaled a bit to the Fairmont. To be honest I teetered between a 3 and 4 star rating, but decided on 4 - just barely and decided by a last minute issue I'll describe below. First the pros: one of the... More

Good afternoon- I’m thrilled you enjoyed your stay with us in Newport Beach. I certainly apologize for your room not being ready as early as you requested. We do our best to accommodate your requests and will continue to make improvements in this area. We recently finished our AC replacement project and if your unit was noisy, I apologize. I... More

Overall, had a very nice stay here traveling with my husband and two young daughters. Spent a couple of days at our favorite beach, Crystal Cove, and was always made to feel very welcomed by the valets upon our return. We had "won" the Fairmont on Priceline for $69 a night, so needless to say I was happy about that.... More

Stayed here briefly when I had a nearby business meeting. Location is near enough to John Wayne (SNA) that you could almost walk, but far enough that you can't see or hear the air traffic. The exterior of the hotel is fairly standard 80s office building, but the inside is the dark wood and plush carpet you expect from a... More

We scored a great deal here, while in town for a friend's wedding. The hotel was nice, employees were pleasant, and we had a nice experience overall. This hotel may not be for tourists though, as it's not very close to any major attractions. I would recommend this for a business traveler or for someone in the area for a... More

Overall we were happy with this hotel. It was centrally located for our purposes and we did not mind the short drive to get to the beaches. The front desk & room service was quick and friendly, the room was clean, the beds were very comfortable and the pool was enjoyable. The only complaint we had was the parking; it... More

Going by the reviews here, for some the location and standard of this Fairmont was disappointing. Yes the rooms could do with double glazed windows, and the hallway noise does seem loud at times and the car parking seems to be a stitch up. But for me, I expected some of these things before booking, because I read Tripadvisor. Also,... More
