Very accommodating. They quickly cleaned our room when asked (very important with two kids on somewhat different nap schedules.) Excellent value. Clean. Had mini fridge and microwave. Fairly spacious given that we had a pack and play (square) to fit in besides a toddler and the things that he likes to leave around. I would return. P.S. right across the... More

My girlfriend and I just returned from a fantastic long weekend in the charming town of Occidental. This was our 6th visit to Negri's and they have always come through with great service and a very comfortable, clean room. The hotel is quiet and the staff has always been friendly. With the beaches and wineries close by, Occidental is the... More

When I called a couple of days before our trip to get a reservation near Sebastopol for the Tour D'Organics bike ride, the conversation with the hotel was excellent. When we arrived, we were welcomed. The room was air-conditioned with a king-size bed and full bath. The fridge was quiet and didn't disturb us. We were given the Internet password... More

I've stayed here before, I'd say 6 years ago. I found the location great with Colson Road to the ocean just down the street. Very reasonable rates considering the area. The rooms are comfortable and the reception was friendly and accommodating. Occidental itself is a great little town. Check out the Sonoma Canopy tours if you go. My daughter did... More

The Occidental Hotel is centrally located in beautiful Occidental. We had a two queen bed room on the first floor for a total cost of 199. For some unknown reason there is a surcharge or $20 for the two kids that stayed in our room with us. The room was very clean and modern and tastefully decorated. The bed I... More

We stayed for just one night, and knew in advance what we'd be experiencing here. We stayed in one of the "upgraded" rooms. In general, we were satisfied with our stay, not expecting 4* accomodations, and the room had just about everything we needed: small fridge, microwave, decent TV (not flat screen), and comfortable beds and linens. The one thing... More

Just completed a four day bike trip in the area and after staying at higher-end B&Bs found Negri's to be a very nice surprise. Very clean and comfortable in a great spot at a reasonable price and the staff was very pleasant and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Have been coming here for years. Always clean, excellent staff, great value, in a truly beautiful setting. Occidental is a must see and Negri's Hotel is the place to stay. Be sure and visit Howard's Station for breakfast and Negri's Restaurant for an amazing Italian lunch or dinner.

I'm an automotive/travel writer taking a long weekend break after attending the launch of the 2011 Ford Fiesta in San Francisco, exploring homemade/artisan cheese establishments up to Eureka. In stead of heading inland to Wine Country for the night I took a detour north on the Bohemian Highway and I'm glad I did. A well-maintained, fifties/sixties era AAA-rated nestled in... More

The little town of Occidental is nestled in the heart of the redwoods approximately 4 miles to the east of Bodega Bay and the ocean and 4 miles south of the Russian River. The local folks are friendly and there's a mix of good restaurants and small shops. Our favorite restaurants are Howard's Station and Negri's Traditional Italian Restaurant and... More
