Great value. Large rooms. Not at all fancy or pretentious.

Very cozy with a spacious room that had a fireplace. A great location behind the Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary and very close to downtown and the beach. A great value in a great location.

This is a charming motel that evokes the road trips I took with my family in the 60's. It's located in Pacific Grove which is so much less tourist than Monterey. The Butterfly Grove Inn is not a fancy place with a lot of amenities, but it's clean, the rooms are large & the staff is very helpful.
