Clean rooms, fairly quiet despite being on the corner of two main streets. In particular, food was great - freshly baked cookies, lots of wine throughout the day, cheese plate for snacks and custom cooked breakfast. Liked off the street parking area and in bathroom towel heater. Not over the top regarding decorations. Fairly plain but tasteful. The VCR player... More

This is a very nice Bed and Breakfast located in a charming neighborhood. The rooms and entire building are clean and quaint. As others have commented, we too had a problem with our reservation. The room we reserved (my brother-in-law visited the B&B and chose/booked the room in person) was occupied when we arrived. They put us in a 3rd... More

We spent a friday and saturday here and loved it. We arrived Friday just in time for their wine social and had a decent glass of red wine (Blackstone and J.Lohr?) and a nice offering of crackers, cheese and even smoked salmon. There's also a coffee/hot chocolate/tea bar open 24 hours and a water dispenser with ice and citrus slices... More

Good location. Charming inn. Delicious breakfast. I booked a King Suite on Hotels.com, and unfortunately the reservationist at the hotel mistakenly booked us into the wrong room (King room, not suite), and when we asked to change we were told they already booked the suite to someone else. We were eventually refunded the difference between the two rooms by the... More

I wish I had read the comment from the couple who stayed in the basement (Jan. 2012) before we stayed here this past weekend. The downstairs room is exactly as stated below. If you stay at this B & B, make sure when you don't have a reservation that sticks you in the dungeon below. Being stuck downstairs, was so... More

This was an OK place and the location is very central to Pacific Grove and lots of nice restaurants and shops. We got a package deal through Groupon but found out that you can get the same price at their website. Our room was a disappointment, being on the third floor in a small attic space with very low ceilings.... More

This place is charming and romantic. It's clean and has a friendly staff. There is a wine and cheese reception upon arrival. This gives you an opportunity to visit with the other guests, which was fun. The location is perfect; just off of the downtown area of Pacific Grove where you will find cute shops and many delicious restaurant options.... More

The main house is very charming, and having tea/hot chocolate available all the time is very nice. The wine hour was very nice; the appetizers were plentiful. Fresh cookies in the evening also very nice. The breakfasts have fairly standard offerings--cereal, muffins, fresh fruit--but the chef there prepares a hot dish each day that are quite imaginative and very tasty.... More

This is a basic b and b - nicely kept areas in main part of front parlor - the breakfasts were delicious, nice offerings of muffins, fruit as well as a hot item served that morning. You do get what you pay for though, and Pacific Grove can get pricey - this is on the lower end of the b... More
