We stayed at the Chase in the second week of May during a holiday from the UK. We had initially planned to only stay 1 night but ended up booking another night to have a day to relax by the pool. The hotel is in a fantastic location with less than 2 min walk to the main bars and restaurants.... More

I've stayed over at the Chase Hotel several times and have always been delighted. It has a special retro-fifties type of atmosphere in that you probably wouldn't have been surprised to run into Frank Sinatra or Marilyn Monroe. Each room is meticulous. This is one of my favorite places!

Stayed at the Chase in mid-April and loved it. My sister and I travelled together so got a lovely room (211) with two beds, kitchenette and bathroom with tub/shower combo. The hotel is very quiet, the continental breakfast is wonderful, room very clean and the grounds/gardens are beautifully kept. The WIFI is great and had no problem getting on line... More

This was our 6th or 7th stay at this hotel and was the first time we were ever disappointed with it. Seems like since our first stay - they haven't done a heck of a lot to maintain the place (ie. there are a pile of unusable lounge chairs on a corner of the property that have been sitting there... We stayed here twice in April. We found the hotel clean and the staff friendly. The continental breakfast was nice and the rooms were clean and the linens/bedding clean. The pool is heated and saline. The sun is on the pool most of the day in April. The mid-century style was pleasing to us. The staff, particularly Rick, were helpful... More

We booked to stay on March 31 and looked forward to our experience in a small downtown hotel. The room was located on the second floor. We walked in and noted the musty room smell, the stained white carpet and spartan appearance. In les than 5 minutes we decided to walk away and the cost.

We happened on the Chase by chance and could never have been happier with it. Had a fab time, service was above any expectations and the pool was delicious. Location was perfect, we easily strolled through town and the scenery out to the mountains was like a postcard.

A combination of some planning and a bit of luck led to our choosing to stay at The Chase Hotel during our visit to Palm Springs in late December 2012. It certainly satisfied our desire to find accommodation that is part of the mid-century architecture that defines the character of the city. Current and previous owners have obviously made some... If you're looking for a consistently great experience in Palm Springs, stay at the Chase Hotel. This is our 6th trip to the Chase and it's consistently wonderful. The staff are upbeat and friendly, the other guests interesting, the dog policy second to none. It's located just a block off the main street of downtown Palm Springs, close to several... More

My husband and I stayed here recently for a 1-night escape; this was our first time staying at The Chase. It wasn't quite my first choice, mostly because this was more of a quick, budget getaway to attend a party. On the other hand, I wanted to stay within walkable distance to downtown, and this fit the bill very well.... More
