My husband and I went to the coachella music festival and stayed here out of necessity rather than choice - it was the only hotel with availability - we soon realised why. We called ahead to check the price and were not quoted the full amount. So we were surprised when we arrived that a resort fee was added to... More

I stayed here with my husband and two teenage daughters during Coachella weekend. We chose the hotel because of the room size. The rooms are one bedroom apartments. They have a living room with a sleeper sofa, a dining room area, full kitchen, a bedroom with two queen size beds and a huge bathroom and even a separate bathroom and... More

Stayed here late March/early April - overall, I'd call my experience "above average" but I'll select average from the TA ratings scale. As noted in the title, some solid pluses. Pro: - Location: "downtown" close to "main drag," restaurants, casino, bars, etc. - Staff were very friendly and helpful - when I asked where I could lock up my rental... More

Not even 10 minutes away from the airport ($15 cab ride - which included our gratuity to the driver), the resort was quick to get to. Reserved on-line, 4 adults. Upon arrival we received a friendly welcome, in fact the staff at the front desk were always pleasant, so were the housekeeping staff and the pool attendant -so no complaints... More

I stayed here last week with my husband and 8 month old and it was great: The room was HUGE, clean and well furnished. The location is excellent - 2 blocks from the main drag. They keep the pool nice and warm too. Staff was friendly and accommodating. 2 things that could be improved are more lounge chairs by the... More

There's a lot to recommend: great locations, good size one-bedroom, great pool area, friendly and helpful staff. But: only 12 chaises for the entire pool area and they were old and cheap. Towels are rejects from Motel 6, small and rough. Lighting in room is poor and in need of an upgrade. For young travelers or families it's fine.. If... More

My husband and I have used time share points to stay at this property several times and have always found it to be very adequate for our needs. I was wondering if things had changed after reading the recent negative reviews but was pleasantly surprised to fidn they had not. We were in unit #133 an dit was very clean,... More

We have stayed in many good hotels in Palm Spring. The Marquis Villas is by far far the best. The condos are large and well appointed, the staff are great and very helpful and the location is the best. You can walk to all the shops and restaurants in down town. Oh...and the price is right.

May 1993-the birthdate of the mattress on which my wife and I tried to sleep last night at the Marquis Villas. After several hours of fitfull sleep and getting nothing but sores, we dragged the mattress to the floor for some relief. In the morning, when placing the mattress back on the box, we discovered the manufacturer's tag with the... More

This hotel is very old, dirty and stinky. The rooms on the third floor where we stayed are the types of rooms you see in a “flea-bag” motel, except for the size. The carpets are old, ripped and stinky. The beds are swayed. The blankets are the poorest quality. The furniture must be 50 years old, and never cleaned. The... More
