The walls are painfully thin, we were woken at 3am by a couple next door, and the following night a load of people were drinking and chatting noisily outside our room with loud music on (they had been there all day). The hotel manager sorted the music, to her credit, but the loud talk went on for quite some time.... More

I have reservation for next month and we were down here in may to have a week long family vacation. After reading the reviews I was ready to cancel. So the wife and I went by to look. I was given keys to a room and while it's not 5 stars it was clean and had all we could want... More

We stayed here during the last week of March 2012 and would not recommend it or go back. The facility is in major need of repair and up-dating. Our room was very dark and the grout was missing from a number of tiles in the bathroom. There was also black mold on some of the other grout. The carpet was... More

Just remove the nice looking (but dirty) pool and the palm trees and what we have here is an old, poor motel. Everything is so old and in bad condition, I can't believe this actually is called a 3* hotel: - so dark !!! it is just terribly dark, even at noon with sunny perfect weather. It has only one... The Ramada Inn has recently been sold & is now the "Ivy Palms". What a great change. It has only been about a month, but thr property has omproved a great deal. I also stayed here when it was the Ramada. THE rooms are cleaner, the staff is very accommodating & helpful, they seem happier. There are 2 pools, 1... More

Everything down to a budget, minimum standards and service that barely comply with description other than the Wifi Internet didn't work. When I asked about the internet I was told it must be a fault with my equipment. I pointed out that we had 4 different devices with a similar fault but working fine everywhere else. I was shown a... Checked in to the front desk girl telling us to watch out because someone just got robbed the other night. The room was nasty and smelled funny and the bed was like sitting on a door. The hotel photos look nothing like they advertise. After two hours, we found another hotel and checked out right away. The front desk staff... More

If you like super firm/hard beds this place will work for you... Clean, and affordable (for palm springs) nice pools and hot tubs. Only problem was the changed the name of the place to the Ivy Palm Resort after I booked (actually the day of arrival) they changed all the exterior signage, needless to say a bit confusing try to... We were at the end of a long road trip, and needed a 1-nite stay. It was "ok" for that purpose, but it really wasn't worth the $$ even for that one nite. It seemed like a safe/clean area of town, so that part was ok. Got a 2-Double bed room for us & our 7 yr old. We arrived... More

It's nicer than a basic motel, and my room was clean and decently appointed for this class of hotel. My room was quiet, and it seemed like the bathroom had been recently upgraded. If the story ended there, I'd have rated it "average". However, in what must be the most perplexing decision ever, the hotel has rented ground-floor space to... More
