While I have been to the Old Ranch Inn many times before, it has always been in June and November, this time I arrived in Mid April to blooming jasmine all through out the property. Its fragrant smell while relaxing by the pool brought back great memories of my childhood summers. While everything that can be said about Ed and... More

Larry and Ed made our visit to Palm Springs very special and all of their recommendations - from the museum, to places to visit and/or eat - were perfect. Their directions on how to get to places, and what events or sights would be a good fit for us, were helpful and filled with experience. We will definitely stay here... More

Ed and Larry are the perfect "hosts". We felt like guests in their home. It was a quiet, comfortable, jasmine-scented oasis! A short walk to wonderful shopping, coffee shops and restaurants. We would definitely book a return trip....only stay longer!

Fabulous place - calm, relaxing, quiet; lovely staff (Teresa), and Ed and Larry are the best hosts, ever (along with Raffaella Pittatore at the Gioca dell'Oca in Barolo, Italy!). This was our first trip to California, taken because I was to meet my mother for the first time in 50 years, and the visit could have been very stressful -... More

14 days of absolute perfection...and we are fussy (well I am anyway)..a small, welcoming boutique inn in the heart of Palm Springs...have stayed many places in many countries and this is at the top of our list...you can relax or be busy..many times we had the pool and patios to ourselves. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The hosts, Ed and Larry are wonderful and extremely helpful - their restaurant referrals were right on. You feel like you've known them for years. My husband is very tall and they were thoughtful enough to put us in their largest room (Suite 1) so he had lots of space. The decor... More

When I read all the reviews before booking a room I thought how could any place have consistent excellent reviews. Well now we know. It is everything all the reviewers have said. We stayed in Room 1 and loved it. Ed and Larry were great. The inn is well maintained and it was enjoyable to sit by the pool and... More

The Old Ranch Inn offers a perfect holiday experience in Palm Springs. Located very close to downtown, the inn is in a pleasant area that is a mixture of inns, residences, and resorts. Ed and Larry, the owners, are available to answer questions, offer suggestions, look for the best deals for you, and provide any information you need about Palm... More

We stayed in #8 for one night...the hosts Ed and Larry are great...beyond accomodating! The courtyard and pool area were great, the firepit was equally nice. Our room had a quiet private patio on the side with amazing bouganvilla's...would recomment this unit because of the large patio. Room was great...nicely decorated, spotlessly clean. Walking distance (4 blocks) to downtown....what's not... More
