Just thirty minutes from our downtown tasting room,is our 320 Acre vineyard estate with luxury suites, stunning ocean and forest vistas and gormet meals. Complimentary wine tasting and discounts at our downtown tasting room.
My wife, daughter and I spent a week there and it was most unforgettable moment in time for us! I love to cook and the house we stayed in had everything we needed including washer and dryers, direct tv and Internet! It was most relaxing time ever. When your there it's your home! Nobody around to bother you your free from all care! Beware it's hard to leave such a utopia as that! All we can think of is when to go back! I have traveled world and many tourist spots but none compare to this as close to heaven as you can get!

Stopped in fir tastes and purchases. Great Pinot Noir, and others, and we have so much respect for owner and manager, we arrive with a blank agenda and accept recommendations for local winery tasting rooms to visit. We're never disappointed.

We stayed for 2 nights last October. My husband and I and our 2 friends. The journey to get there is as exciting as the view and beautiful home you find when you get there . The owners were incredibly friendly and prepared a delicious breakfast for us both days. This was one of the most beautiful experiences I have ever had. They hosted a wine tasting for us at thier winery. We bought several bottles. The wine is really delicious. I wouldnt miss this place!

We stayed here three nights while visiting the area. It was wonderful on all counts. The house is beautiful and totally comfortable. It has every amenity; the sheets and towels are lux. Phillip, the host, is fun, warm, generous and welcoming. The mountaintop views are stunning. I recommend you arrive for the first time during daylight hours, so you can easily navigate the windy road to the top. Take your time; deer and wild turkeys are sometimes on the road. Use Phillip's directions, rather than your GPS. Phillip also is a superb winemaker. Be sure to go to his tasting room in Paso Robles and buy a case of his great wines.

Loved it! We stayed 2 evenings at this lovely 3 room hacienda in Atascadero with incredible views of the mountains and distant ocean. It sits in a beautiful area, about a half hour from Paso Robles which is where the Asuncion Ridge Wine Tasting Room is located, as well as shops and restaurants. We arrived relatively late on a Friday night (10 p.m.) and the host, Phillip, was there to greet us with delicious wine from his vineyard, snacks and friendly conversation. He provided a wealth of information about the area and dining suggestions. The rooms and entire home were tastefully decorated. In addition to the outdoor patios, each room had its own patio with seating. The property contains pretty gardens and fountains. Breakfasts were delicious! Not only is Philip a talented winemaker, but also a chef with a warm personality who puts his guests at ease. He is a gem! Cute beach towns and Hearst Castle are located about an hour away and you travel through scenic wine country to reach them. The inn is “off the beaten path”, but this is what I loved about it. A beautiful peaceful refuge. You could see the stars at night, hear the wind in the leaves of the old oaks, and the chatter of the birds in the morning. The drive up to Asuncion Inn is scenic and if you're lucky, you may spot the longhorns along the way. Philip supplied excellent directions and I recommend taking a copy with you. GPS will get you close to the address, but you will still need the directions. I wish we could have stayed longer, and I hope to return when I travel to the west coast again. We enjoyed the accommodations and the excellent wines. Thank you for a wonderful stay Philip! Highly recommend!…

The pictures were enough to convince my B and B aphobic husband to give it a try and it did not disappoint! We loved the Pinot Noir suite, the gorgeous view, the solitude and a super comfortable bed. We had fun conversations with our lovely fellow guests, yet enough room and space to have privacy as well. Yes it is a beautiful drive up the hill, totally worth it in our view. Best to arrive the first time In daylight and then you will be fine. Don't forget to go out at night and check out the stars! This was our first visit to Paso Robles and we enjoyed the various wineries Phil and guests recommended. Thank you Phil, you were a fabulous host and chef, we are looking forward to returning!

This place is beyond magnificent! So secluded, so quiet, so tastefully appointed, so unbelievable. We stayed in the Pinot Noir Suite and had the place to ourselves. We enjoyed the solitude, the bocce ball, the sunset while watching squirrels and birds in the enormous, ageless trees. From the great wine, to the gourmet breakfast the next day - nothing was overlooked. Philip is a wonderful host and chef - and most importantly, conversationalist and winemaker! Great guy - great place - just don't want it be so popular now that we can never get a reservation! We will be back.

Stopped in for a tasting on a Friday afternoon. We were the only ones in there for a while which was cool. There was only one person working and a large group came in so we were a little neglected for a few min. The lady was really nice (I forget her name) and the wines were good.

Great location and a value to anyone that is looking to escape. The location and the view was great. My girlfriend loved every moment. Phillip was a great host and very humble. When we first arrived with our picnic lunch my girlfriend and I sat and looked at Morro Rock for about 3 hours in complete silence. The view was beautiful. We were lucky and had the place to ourselves. The bathtub in largest room which we stayed had an awesome view as well. It is a very nice place.

Stayed at this lovely inn for 2 nights in the gorgeous Pinot Noir suite. Nothing has been overlooked in this tastefully decorated home. Philip provided great breakfasts, conversation and wine and snacks upon arrival. He's very knowledgable about the area and gave great recommendations for dining and fun. As other's have said it is off the beaten path which I feel makes it all the better. It's a beautiful drive to get to and the roads were easy to navigate and instructions very clear. There are hundreds of wineries in the area as well as a couple of cool beach towns to visit (Morro Bay, Cayucos) that aren't too far of a drive. I'd be happy just staying at the Inn reading a good book and taking in the fabulous views. We'll be back.
