The Hyatt Regency Sac offers pretty much what people who book Hyatts want -- no surprises. They did their job well based on traditional standards of business hotels. Large flat-screen tv, my corner room had great windows and decent black out windows, quality sheets and towels and bathrobes, nice carpets. The minibar had decent quality, but one of those annoying... More

My wife and I came for a pre- conference stay. We were placed in a corner room, located at the end of the hallway. The doorway was in the dark, with no hallway lights nearby to illuminate the entry or card key slot. One of the two card keys never worked, even when replaced by the front desk. The room... More

First visit to this hotel. Booked a "suite" by car phone. Reception and valet parking excellent. Once in the suite: PROS: large living room decorated with taste. Excellent bedroom space and large luxury bathroom. CONS: no windows in living area (yes!) and no ventilation registers in living room (YES). So, AC unit in bedroom is only way to get air... More

Came to California during the summer (2011) and stayed here at the Hyatt. When I checked in, their lobby was under construction so they moved their check in dest on the 2nd floor. Yet, the service was great, I was greeted with a smile and the clerks were very helpful. My room was awesome, technologically advanced with a flat screen... More

2 day conference back in Sacramento. I have stayed at the Hyatt Regency many times. It's been refreshed, but stays mostly the same. It's the little things that count. A lamp that doesn't work; the always annoying charge for WiFi; no newspaper in the morning even though others got one. Nothing really bad, but nothing really awesome either. At least... More

This hotel is truly one of the best in Sacramento. I had the pleasure to take my wife my kids and my mother to their mothers day brunch last year at the hotel. Great food and a great atmosphere. Close to Old Sacramento, The Capitol and Downtown plaza. My favorite local hotel.

I stayed here for two nights on a business trip to visit a customer in Rancho Cordova. The location is great and right in the heart of downtown. Sacramento has done a good job making their downtown area attractive. There is much in walking distance although I did not have time to walk very much. Parking garage is attached but... More

No big complaints about this hotel. The rooms were spacious and modern. The bed was very comfortable- I slept so well. Location is perfect and nice views of the Capitol. One thing is the staff got confused about the benefits my husband was meant to receive as a Hyatt Platinum Member. This got frustrating because it was a waste of... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The staff were very friendly and check-in took only two minutes. Our room was modern and comfortable and faced the park in front of the Capitol. We ate dinner at Dawson's steakhouse, which was excellent. I worked out in the fitness room, which was only adequate.... More
