We always have had good experiences at La Quintas, so had no problem pulling in after a 10 hour drive. The room had seen much better days. The carpet had black stains all over it, which made me feel dirty, but we were way to tired to change rooms, so I put the towels over the stains (out of site... More

We moved from Sacto 15 years ago, but we return often to visit family. So we’re very familiar with both the neighborhood and this La Quinta, which we’ve stayed at since it opened. The neighborhood is spotty, but it’s neither high crime or ‘gehtto.’ If you’re uncomfortable with either a mixed urban or predominantly blue collar population, you should stay... More

Our vehicle was broken into. Gang members and prostitutes were walking the hallways. We moved a couch and a crack pipe fell out of the cusions. The hallways smelled of marijuana smoke. Cops were making arrests in the parking lot. Two prostitutes approached a coworker and the coworker declined. One hour later a male came up to us and asked... More

We were visiting family in area before returning home. My nephew who lives in the area said it was good. We only stayed one night. Receptionist gave me a choice of locations I told her to pick a good one. She gave us the third floor facing the highway. I guess to be away from all the noise of the... More

Where should I begin? Room was small and clean but everything went downhill from there: free in-room wifi went off for 24 hours; housekeeping left a lot to be desired; security door stayed open, breakfast selections very limited (bananas were often either spoiled or nonexistent). One guest hung wet clothing on railing to dry a la Beverly Hillbillies. Do not... More

This facility is strategically located in the North Sacramento area. The facility is clean and very quite. We had a deluxe bedroom that included a king size bed, microwave, and small refrigerator. A very strong plus for us is that most La Quinta Inns are pet friendly. We always travel with our dog. My concerns with this facility are: (1)... More

I stayed here for one night while traveling through California. I thought this place was great- very nice staff, room was really clean, and it was only about $50. This was the best stop on my trip and the best value. I am sorry that the other reviewers did not have such a nice experience...
