Upon checkin, the pool and spa were out of service and nowhere on the website or when making the reservation does it mention this. We stayed here primarily for that reason since it is so nice at this time of year. The room was dirty (hair on bed, pillows and in bathroom) and smelled like smoke. There was virtually no-one... It is deeply disappointing when a guest leaves us and feels they did not have their expectations met nor does it reflect the high standards of customer service that we set. Please know that our management team is always available to all our guests should any issues arise that cannot be resolved through the staff. We appreciate you taking the... More

The only positive thing I can say is that the hotel staff were pleasant. The room was terrible. It smelled incredibly musty, and there was a constant sound of water running through the walls and ceiling. Initially I thought that someone must be showering, but the sound was constant -- it lasted all night, and I could even hear it... More

I have the unfortunate experience of staying here for three nights in connection with a business event. The only "pro" is that it's cheap, but even at $99/night I would call it overpriced. Here is a list of problems: 1) Check-in took an inordinate amount of time for no good reason I could discern. 2) There are serious security issues... More

Although infrequent, there are occasions when room check-in may be delayed and we do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. This is a conference hotel with nice meeting rooms and a pretty little lake. The rooms around the lake are very pleasant. I expect the others would be quite grim, particularly when it is hot. The bed was comfortable, but the cosmetics mediocre. No conditioner--just a not-very-nice combo shampoo/conditioner, and only 2 bath towels, no robes. I enjoyed the sound... More

I rcently attended a conference at this hotel that was previoulsy owned by Raddison. I can see why Raddison got rid of it. The property is dated. I had an upgraded room with a water view. The carpet was ripped and the furnishings were spartan. They do have sleep number beds if that is a selling point for you. The... More

Okay, that was a bit of hyperbole. The towels are fine, but the walls are definitely thin. I could clearly hear conversation and the TV from the occupied room next to mine. Fortunately, they were not night owls. The trains can be clearly heard from the room, but by turning on the AC, I did not have any problems falling... More

There are plenty of hotels in Sacramento, go elsewhere. The railroad station is nearby. All night long you think the trains will come through the door. The trains are never ending alllllll night long. Terrible bedding and a pathetic complimentary breakfast buffet. This hotel is under new ownership with a new name. Stay away, far away. Your trip will thank... More

My husband and I use to stay at ClubCarlson hotels all over the world, that's why we have chosen Woodlake Hotel Sacramento for 2 days stay at Sacramento. This was a terrible mistake! When we arrived, there were no Radisson sign, so we were wandering around the block looking for the hotel. Finally we decided that the only hotel in... More

I just stayed five nights at the Wood Lake Hotel, for a conference, so I feel pretty confident writing this review. First, if I was a decorator, I would paint the place an entirely different color. Right now it is a sad shade of Pepto Bismol, which just really does not do justice to the place. Since the hotel is... More

We were in Sacramento for the RV show and stayed here two nights. Lovely Hotel and Restaurant. The Geese were our morning alarm clocks and just loved sitting on the patio and watching them. Such a nice place to relax. We had dinner at their restaurant, Basils by the Lake and the food was excellent. Sure wish they had calamari... More
