After the rudest treatment ever from Mr. Anal Shah at Travelodge next door, I was amazed at this place. The room was very clean and modern with wood floors and freshly painted walls and ceiling...could use a fridge and MW but overall EXCELLENT...STAFF EXCELLENT...

I stayed here for one day while I was traveling to Tijuana and I didn't like it. The place is not very well maintain, it smells like old. The location and the price are good but I think that for a little more I can stay in better room. The staff was friendly but the hotel is old so is... More

At first the location was sort of intimidating, but we didn't encounter any problems. It's literally 2 exits from the Mexican border. The staff was very friendly. We stayed 3 nights and came back to a clean room every day. The pool looked clean, didn't get a chance to use it.

We stayed one night at this hotel before we moved to Travel Lodge nearby. It was ok but, you have to pay for internet, we stayed in the smoking room since there was not non-smoking room available where you can connect to the WIFI. The staff were quite helpful especially if you speak spanish. You have to take the last... More

Motel means your motor is right outside your door. That is the good news. The bad news is that so is every other car right outside your door. At this border stop, people talk outside your door smoking and laughing until way past midnight. Girls are vomiting in the parking lot. Loud, banging noises are heard in the room upstairs,... More

Stayed here as we flew in late and had an early (next morning) medical trip to Tijuana. Pros: 1) Close to the border 2) Price $50 3) The shower -- Water was piping hot and flowed great Cons: 1) Musty Smell -- However that was alleviated when the air conditioner was turned on 2) The toilet seat didn't fit the... We stayed there for a business trip to the Mexican border. We made the reservation on line thinking that would be acceptable considering it belongs to a national chain but...It is smelly. Staff are very friendly Mexicans but unfortunately poorly trained. We arrived late, when we tried to get into the rooms the keys were not working. My colleague went... More

It's not the Ritz, but this was a very good place for the money. I've stayed at worse for twice the price. A group of us needed to book 5 rooms in the San Diego area. Prices for 1- and 2-star hotels and motels were quite high in some cases (over $100, even). We weren't looking for luxury, so we... More
