Just returned from a surprise weekend planned by my fiancee. she booked it last minute and got a pretty decent rate. Check in staff were super friendly and gave us great recommendations to eat. Room was clean and comfortable. Will gladly stay here on our next trip to Santa Barbara.

Recenly stayed here for one week; in town for a family wedding. We found the rooms to be very clean and comfortable. Blow dryer, iron and board, and room safe were nice to have. Plenty of drawer space. The staff were all friendly (housekeeping graciously handled our requests for things without question). The bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the free... More

We paid £60 for one night so wasn't expecting much, was a little weary from all the negative reviews but I can honestly say there isn't really anything wrong that I could complain about. the room is clean and the bed is comfortable, I am extremely prone to bites when I sleep in hotel beds but I didn't get any... The accommodations are clean and comfortable and the rooms are more spacious than most comparable motels. The staff is very friendly. I cannot rave about it but I have no complaints. It met my need for a clean, affordable motel within easy driving distance to my daughter's college.

We were in a hurry and didn't read trip advisor and boy did we pay the price. This place should be closed down. Sketch people hang out in the parking lot and we had people partying all night, wasted beyond belief, yelling etc. It makes motel 6 look like the Four Seasons. Terrible management, rude, not at all interested in... More

Upon arriving at the lodge I was informed that I could not use cash for the room deposit. The website mentioned the deposit as USD 50, which implies cash is acceptable and mentioned nothing in regard to having to charge the amount. The room was already paid for, yet I was not allowed to stay because of the deposit issue.... More

Our second floor room was ok but not great. This is an "older" motel and the bath and carpet show it. TV was good - new model with several channels, although many popular channels were not accessible because the motel hasn't converted to the proper technology to receive them. Bed was fine, although sheets were a bit too small for... More

If you book with EXPEDIA, your treated as a second rate customer, the staff treat you immedietly like dirt. Request a reciept, they deny you of it and state you have to get from online. They charge your credit card $50.00 for INCIDENTALS in addition to room price you paid expedia, they do not tell you this, nor is it... More

The first time we got there, we got upgraded for free to a 2 bedroom suite. Everything was clean and just great. So much better than you could ever imagine a lodge. A year later when we were back in Santa Barbara we wanted to try something different, we drove to the whole town trying to get any room but... More

My husband and I recently needed a place to stay for a couple of nights in Santa Barbara. We weren't looking for much more than a clean decent place, since we weren't there for a pleasure weekend. It was very reasonably priced for Santa Barbara. The Mgr. was courteous and helpful. We requested extra pillows and extra coffee and they... More
